  • In Person: Give a check or cash to any Endowment Board Member at rehearsal
  • Kroger Community Rewards Program – The Endowment receives a donation every time you scan your card at purchase! To set it up: Log into your Kroger account, click on “My Account”. Scroll down to find “Community Rewards” and follow the instructions. Our NPO number is MC319, or search by typing in Seed and Feed Marching Abominable Endowment, and then click “Save”.

What does your donation “buy”?

• $35 buys one new music stand
• $40 buys one new drum head
• $55 buys one new piece of music (one song)
• $100 grants 6th graders new music books
• $300 buys a rack to store music stands
• $600-$3,000 buys a new sousaphone (yes, quite the wide range!)

In addition to individual donations that contribute to the core of the Endowment, the Endowment Board hosts two fundraising campaigns each year:

1. The Annual $5 Gig Raffle: Win the Band!  For the mere cost of a $5 ticket, the winner of this annual fundraiser receives a band performance at the event of their choice! Click here for more info. 
2. The Royalty Contest: Band members compete for the titles of KING, QUEEN, and ROYAL PAIN IN THE ASS by raising donations to the Endowment. Fellow band members largely contribute the funds, but donations can come from anyone: family members, co-workers, or even past band directors. The candidates who raise the most funds choose the title they want to hold and the crown they want to wear while holding court. In 2015, the Board introduced capes to complete the royal look, and in 2016, the Royalty Court rode in fancy antique cars at the Inman Park Festival Parade.
