S&FMA ENDOWMENT

The S&FMA Endowment was established in 1999 to ensure the Seed & Feed Marching Abominable’s long-term preservation by providing reliable supplemental income to help cover the band’s operational costs. Donations to the Endowment ensure the band has the opportunity to play the charitable, non-paying community venues that are the heart and soul of the S&FMA.  The Endowment also strives to educate aspiring musicians in the art forms of music, particularly marching band music, by offering grants.  The Endowment serves as the connection between the band and the broader community.

Support the Endowment in these ways:

  • Donate here through PayPal
  • Connect your Kroger Card to the Endowment and scan it every visit.
  • Give a check or cash to any board member
  • Annual $5 Gig Raffle
  • The Annual Abominaball Royalty Contest

The S&FMA Endowment’s grants make an impact in the greater Atlanta community. Meet one of our grant recipients from 2023, the Coralwood School!

“The Seed and Feed Marching Abominable Endowment Grant provided $315 to fund Coralwood School’s Young Musicians Project. We purchased several music equipment items for Dr. Katie’s music program, including boomwhackers, tuned tubes of plastic in rainbow colors and that can be played on any surface. We also purchased castanets and rhythm ribbons. All the items are accessible instruments for Coralwood students and provide a unique way to experience musical elements such as beat, rhythm, pitch, and harmony and perform songs”.
